Job Description

    Welfare Officer/Sr. Officer - Textile & Garments IndustryRoles and ResponsibilitiesQualification: MBA/MSW/MHRMAcademic eligibility:Job Description
    • Formation of committees from scratch & devising policy for each committee.
    • Ensure all necessary benefits for getting all workers properly.
    • Ensure no physical or sexual abuse in the workplace.
    • Ensure all employees right as per labor law.
    • Ensure all over welfare activities as per Rajasthan Labor Law.
    • Induction of new workers and maintain a proper record.
    • To advise and brief workers on the use of machine guard, sanitation, fire safety etc.
    • Involve in the manpower recruitment process and take new employees orientation.
    • Take care of utilities in premise (washroom, canteen area, childcare, water supply and restroom) and maintain daily entries in register.
    • Work to ensure good health and safe environment in the workplace.
    • To look after the provision of amenities such as dining, adequate toilet facility, drinking water etc.
    • Ensure childcare in the facility, lead bay-care personnel.
    • To provide staff/workers guidance/assistance in availing Medical services, Housing, Canteen facilities, along with admin head.
    • Ensure salary getting the on-time and correct amount.
    • Process paperwork for new employees and enter employee information into the payroll system.
    • Verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments, and post information onto designated records.
    • Compute wages and deductions, and enter data into computers.
    • Record employee information, such as exemptions, transfers, and resignations, to maintain and update payroll records.
    • Keep track of leave time, such as vacation, personal, and sick leave, for employees.
    • Process and issue employee paychecks and statements of earnings and deductions.
    • Compile employee time, production, and payroll data from time sheets and other records.
    • Interview job applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, or job skills.
    • Prepare or maintain employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software.
    • Identify staff vacancies and recruit, interview and select applicants.
