Job Description

Windows System AdministratorSavvysoft Technologies is seeking versatile Windows System Administrator to maintain the Windows Server & Desktop environments and to resolve security issues related to infrastructure deploymentsResponsibilities:

  • Installing and managing Windows Primary domain controller and additional domain in Windows 2019 and 2012 R2
  • Plan and manage all migrations and upgrades related to the AD or the DCs
  • Maintaining the Trust relationship between the primary and secondary domain controllers
  • Use the domain admin account only for actions that require the privilege level of this account
  • Monitoring changes to domain root and domain controllers OU to ensure unauthorized changes do not occur
  • Day-to-day management of the domain controllers
  • Monitoring connectivity, synchronization, replication, net logon, time services, FSMO roles, schema, NTDS database partitions, DNS settings, SRV records, and trust relationships
  • Review DC event and security logs and take corrective actions
  • Monitor and resolve security situations at all levels of the domain to ensure a stable and secure domain
  • Backups and restores on domain controllers through VMWARE snapshot manager
  • Add user/group and OU in the active directory & Adding client computers to the domain controllers
  • Installing and configuring DNS /DHCP & Group Policy Object (GPO) creation, troubleshooting, and management
  • Manage Group Policy Object (GPO) links within their OU hierarchy
  • Installing hardware, configuring firewalls, setting up VPN users and installing client software in end-user desktop or laptops for Remote connection
  • Creating Inbound and Outbound rules in the firewall & Opening port in the firewall for specific services
  • Adding users in the firewall and assign policy
  • Creation of users in the firewall for secure login through Nclient authentication and MAC binding
  • Monitor Log events/Firmware upgrades & maintain Site to Site VPN between CBE and CHN
  • Configuring external link for the application to access outside the savvy network
  • Installation of Windows OS and office applications O365/MS office/Visio and Project
  • Patches upgrades for laptops and desktops
  • Configuring email for 0365 and POP3 accounts.
  • Installation of application software Visual studio/SQL Server and client /IIS/Antivirus in the end-users desktops
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Supporting users remotely through VPN/MS teams or through Team view or Any desk.
  • Creation of 0365 email account /deletion of account, and email forwarding, and creating distribution group in 0365
  • Adding 0365 users to the MS teams and appropriate channels
  • Maintaining password details in keeper vault
  • Troubleshooting of connectivity problems using Ping, Trace route
  • Setting up printer/Scanner and webcam
  • Antivirus installation in client and server systems and move to appropriate groups
