Job Description

The Equiniti Group is looking for a Wintel Admin for maintenance team, will be responsible for Maintaining the IT Infrastructure that includes Servers, Operating Systems, Antivirus, Patching, Qualys Vulnerability Fixing, managing Backups and troubleshooting technical issuesWe are searching for a passionate engineer to join our team to help us evaluate, implement, deploy and support technologies that enable our users to collaborate with UK & US Customers. The motivated candidate should have a firm understanding of IT System Infrastructure with a base understanding of Windows servers, Fileservers, ADFS, Security fundamentals, network devices such as load balancers and Firewalls.Core Duties and ResponsibilitiesSuccessful candidate would be responsible for the following duties

  • Microsoft Server Operating Systems Windows 2008 R2, 2012, 2016 and 2019.
  • Active Directory, Group Policy, Certificate Authority, DHCP, DNS, Hyper-V, Smoothwall, Windows Defender, SCCM.
  • HP Data Protector, Veeam Backup and HP OneView
  • Basic Knowledge on F5 (BIGIP), Kemp and Windows load balancers
  • Managing HP Blade Servers and Virtual Infrastructure in Hyper-V
  • Vulnerability and patching management
  • Good Troubleshooting skills
Skills, Attributes and Behaviour:Successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and behaviour.
  • Manage Backups, Patching and resolving Vulnerability on servers and desktops.
  • Minimum 3+ Years of work experience .
  • Patching of Servers and clients thru WSUS & SCCM, Windows Server, IIS.
  • Undertake knowledge transfer from peers or share knowledge with peers.
  • Passionate about delivering service excellence and putting the Client / Customer first.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Should have process orientated approach.
  • Desire to learn and ability to implement the learnings swiftly.
  • Should be a Good Team player, highly motivated and ambitious.
  • Ability to manage work as per the targets agreed.
  • Ability to work in a virtual and remote environment.
Desirable
  • MCSE or relevant Microsoft certification
