Job Description

    Job descriptionDesired Candidate ProfileWe are looking for electrical engineer for the position of Sr. Design Engineer Electrical to join our fast-growing company. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate from our Indian office with colleagues in our Sweden office. You will apply your electrical design knowledge on project work from conceptual design through completion in commercial, residential, retail, institutional and industrial buildings / plants.Technical quality, cost-effectiveness, building and maintaining client relationships, and providing guidance to a team of designers are integral parts of this role. You will act as the senior responsible for the team deliveries and will be seen as an important resource to control and deliver according to set requirements. You will be responsible together with our team in Sweden to ensure quality and good customer contacts.Responsibilities
    • Technical calculations and software use for lighting analyses, load calculations, arc flash, fault & coordination studies, power system design, Hazardous area classification etc.
    • Electrical design of power distribution, control, communication, lighting, fire alarm and security systems for Steel Plants, Cement Plants, Industrial & commercial buildings
    • Writing detailed and concise technical reports, feasibility studies, including written responses and instructions as required during all project phases.
    • Conducting all tasks in cooperation with internal clients and other engineering disciplines.
    • Managing and enhancing client relationships.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications
    • Electrical Engineering Degree
    • Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, Etap etc. Knowledge in MagiCAD will be an added advantage.
    • SS-EN Standards, for example 436 40 00.
    • Experience 8 15 years in electrical design.
    • Ability to work with a minimum of instructions and complete tasks independently.
    • Focus on design of complete electrical systems for steel & power plants.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of programs.
    • Must possess a team player attitude
    • An obvious benefit is if you have experience and exposure for work towards Sweden
