Data teams are one of the most interdisciplinary teams ever created. Theyre made up of analysts, data scientists, engineers, business users diverse people with their own tooling preferences, skill sets, and DNA that need to come together. This leads to collaboration chaos.We were awoken with crisis calls every second day for the minutest of issues from troubleshooting why a number on a dashboard was incorrect to difficulties in getting access to the right data set! Atlan started with us building tools to make our own data team more agile.These tools made our team 6x more agile, helping us take on amazing projects like building Indias National Data Platform used by Indias Prime Minister. • You will be part of a team that is on a mission to win the narrative in the next 3 years.
• As a communication designer, you will be responsible for defining and scaling all external communication that enables Atlan in that mission.
What will you do
• Conceptualize visual designs and brand assets that truly stand out from the noise
• Develop illustrations, logo extensions, and other designs using software or by hand-
• Design collaterals for multiple digital channels like website, email, social media, and advertisements
• Collaborate with the team to discuss feedback and improve your work to deliver the best results
• Ensure that the final graphics and layouts are in line with the company brand guidelines
What makes you a great match for us
• You are excited about the startup ecosystem and love to design to inspire.
• You have 2-4 years of experience as a communication designer or illustrator, preferably for B2B/enterprise startups.
• You have expertise in using industry-standard software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma.
• You have a strong portfolio of illustrations and graphic design with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail.
• You have excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.
• A BFA or related degree is an advantage.
