Job Description

    HR Payroll and Compliance SpecialistWe are seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented Payroll and Compliance Specialist to join our Human Resource team. As a Payroll and Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely salary payments to employees. Additionally, you will handle various statutory compliance matters, including , PF (Provident Fund) administration and related compliance. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of payroll processing and statutory compliance, along with excellent analytical and organizational skills.Responsibilities: Payroll Management Process and manage payroll accurately and efficiently for all employees, including verifying timesheets, calculating salaries, deductions, and allowances. Ensure compliance with payroll-related laws and regulations. Address and resolve payroll-related queries from employees. Statutory Compliance: Manage PF contributions. withdrawals, and transfer processes as per the PF Act. Prepare and file PF returns and ensure timely remittances. Handle ESI (Employee State Insurance) compliance and related submissions.Responsibilities: Compliance Assist in computing employees income tax, including TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) calculations and deductions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to payroll, taxes, and statutory compliance. Collaborate with HR, to ensure seamless information flow and compliance with company policies. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in payroll and compliance functions. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Requirements: Bachelors degree in financial analytics aligns with HR qualifications or a related field (Master degree is more preferable). Proven experience in payroll processing and statutory compliance, preferably with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. In-depth knowledge of PF, GST, Income Tax regulations, and other statutory requirements. Proficiency in using payroll software and accounting systems. Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
