Job Description

    The role is part of an Application Management Support team with specific responsibilities, to support the global footprint of Oracle eBusiness Suite. The role is within the Enterprise Applications function within Strategy & Business Support reporting to the Product Owner Financial Systems.The candidate would be required to perform a dual activity in regard to being a Business Analyst and support activities according to SITA standards and procedures or customer requirements as appropriate, maximising customer satisfaction by applying industry standard processes and procedures.This is a great opportunity for the selected candidate to make an impact within the organisation using their expertise to support the planned future technology roadmap in SITA, predominantly in the migration into SaaS applications.What you will do Translate and align technical, business and operational requirements of the applications into functional and technical specifications ensuring the overall viability/capability of the applications is achievable, the applications is achievable, using SCRUM methodology Ensure the integration of the requirements match those of interacting applications, both inside and outside of SITA Act as a senior analyst for multiple small/medium projects that have significant business impact ensuring solution(s) developed can sustain long term business / technical requirement Responsible for gathering, managing and analysing requirements from Finance teams and to design new application changes for own areas of responsibility Assists in and takes ownership of estimates developed by less experienced staff and/or offshore providers. Take up review of technical work on need basis based on workload of technical team Provide support to teams including Finance teams in accordance with departmental procedures and as per the agreed SLA Co-ordinate application troubleshooting with end users and other internal teams, ensuring the highest level of customer service is maintained to resolve the fault and incident within the prescribed SLA Provide training to end users as and when required Proactively suggest, promote and implement ways to improve the service to end users, either via application improvements or process changes Contribute to user workshops to validate requirements, confirm and negotiate specifications, verifying adherence to requirements in delivered solutions Implement and manage application changes, ensuring the relevant policies and procedures are followed and comply with audit requirements Own the responsibility for the application configuration, liaising with technical teams to determine effort, feasibility, scheduling of the afore mentioned modules. Execute testing with Finance end users and third-party service/application providers to ensure the application is functioning properly for cutover, ensuring all relevant documentation is in place (for example, test plans, scripts) Delivery, testing and support of application changes related to own area of responsibility. Responsible for ensuring quality solutions are delivered to business users on time and budget. Participates in the development of application and process best practices and, using a consultative approach, obtain buy-in from all stakeholders Ensure all risks and issues that affect a project are raised following set processes and are auctioned appropriately. Escalate risks and issues that pose a significant impact to deliverables Support implementation of the specific applications in each specific country/region Manage and support offshore support vendor in the provision of all support and development activities ensuring any contractual breaches are quickly identified and addressed, *Who you are At least 3+ years of experience having worked across Finance Functions At least 3+ years of experience in the deployment and support of Oracle eBusiness Suite up to R12.2.4 with two full lifecycle implementations Required modules are Project Accounting, Oracle Time and Labour, Accounts Receivable Desirable modules are Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, iProcurement, Purchasing, Internet Expenses, General Ledger, Sub-Ledger Accounting, eBusiness Tax, Advanced Global Intercompany Solution (AGIS) Experience of Oracle eBusiness Suite workflows required Experience of SQL/PLSQL required Experience of OBIEE is desirable Experience of ODI desirable Experience of Oracle Fusion is desirable Demonstrate fluent verbal and written communications skills in English and the local in-country language Demonstrate ability to implement solutions using SCRUM Framework or similar agile techniques Demonstrate ability to support, troubleshoot, analyse and investigate application software and/or IT systems Demonstrate ability to understand technical side and work in collaboration with technical teams Demonstrate ability to analyse, draw conclusions and create solutions to end users problems Demonstrate ability to build relationships with end users and relevant management levels Demonstrate ability to prioritise work, work under pressure and multi-task Demonstrate ability to use team approach to solve problems when appropriate Demonstrate ability to demonstrate agility, flexibility and innovation in an environment where prioritise and tasks can change rapidly Strong software application skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project) Demonstrate ability to work in a multi-cultural and diverse business environment Demonstrate ability to work remotely from immediate line management where required Demonstrate ability to estimate medium complexity work packages to assist project planning application changes Demonstrate ability to operate in a global environment and respond to and resolve high priority, high impact issues at any day or time Demonstrate ability to document specifications and test plans/scripts Business Acumen Conflict Management Risk Management Accuracy/Attention to Detail Application Delivery Process Application Testing Conceptual Thinking Results Orientation Managing Change Managing Risk Systems/Technology Integration Requirements Analysis Training Delivery Adhering to Principles and Values Communication Creating & Innovating Customer Focus Impact & Influence Teamwork University degree or equivalent preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or similar Formal accounting qualifications required Formal project management training desirable ITIL Foundation certificate desirableWhat we offer SITA s workplace is all about diversity: many different countries and cultures are represented in our workforce, and colleagues who ve been working here for decades collaborate with those just out of college and early in their careers.
