Job Description

    1. Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries, paymentterms.2. Should work on achieving the department goals and theindividual key performances.3. Examine and test existing contracts.4. Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability ofsuppliers.5. Notify Plant head in a timely manner if a critical delivery is goingto be late.6. Read and understand Arora Engineerings customer drawingsand then telling the team to float the requirement accordingly.7. An important skill that Procurement Personnel need to exhibit isgreat planning. A Procurement Personnel should have the ability tocreate an effective timeline for work and completing tasks.8. Procurement managers are faced with some tough decisions. Tobe successful, a Procurement Personnel must be able to assess asituation and come up with the best course of action possible.9.Time management is another essential skill every ProcurementPersonnel should exhibit. In a plant, there are specific deadlines tohave raw material/spares on time in the plant. Without proper timemanagement, these deadlines will be difficult to meet and can leadto failure.10.
