Job Description

    *Corporate Solution Delivery Center team is part of the AXA XL Global Technology responsible for Finance, Actuarial, Risk,HR, Marketing and Communication, Workplace, Legal, Compliance Applications portfolio management. The team builds the overall strategy, performs SDLC, maintenance, support, and performance improvements for all applications. DISCOVER your opportunity What will your essential responsibilities include
    • CODE: able to code across full stack, front end, API , back end and DB.
    • Work collaboratively with developers on other teams, internal and external, onshore and offshore.
    • Assists to maintain development standards for design, coding, etc.
    • Technically leads other developers, including assignment of work.
    • Estimate work requests at various levels of confidence.
    • Assist with the creation of operational guidelines.
    • Assist with technical analysis of solution design.
    • Perform design activities in collaboration with the Technical Architect
    • Assists to maintain development standards for design, coding, etc.Support resolution of defects during application testing phases.
    • Estimate work requests at various levels of confidence
    • May serve as a member of a Major Incident Team
    • May perform Application Developer duties
    • Identify, propose process improvements to enhance Corporate finance applications support to promote Make-It-Better
    You will report to the Application Manager., * Experience
    • Minimum of 6+ years hands-on development experience in C#, SQL, .Net Frameworks, Visual Studio, SSMS, TFS/GIT, HTML5, Web API, JSON, XML, REST
    • Experience with at least one of the modern web development frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue, BootStrap, Ember etc.
    • Experience with developing with Azure Services is essential Web Apps, Web Jobs, Queuing framework etc.
    • Knowledge of Mordern data storage technologies like Table/Blob Storage, Avro, Parquet etc is nice to have.
    • Strong sense of web design and attuned to the fundamentals of the user experience.
    • Ability to work constructively in a team environment as well as independently.
    • Knowledge / Experience with Test Driven Development.
    • Experience with of Agile, SDLC, CI/CD, DevOps processcees.
    • Exposure of R/Python is nice to have.
    • Experience with complex modeling and /or risk analytics in insurance or financial domain is preferred.
    • Experience working in a geographically distributed project team preferred.
    • Must possess good interpersonal skills, team-oriented, technically motivated and creative, user oriented, self driven with a desire to learn AXA XLs business
    Education and Qualifications
    • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
    • Ability to work independently with less supervision is required. Good verbal, written, and presentation skills.
    • Able to organize self and others including effective scheduling, prioritization, and time management skills, completing tasks to tight deadlines.
    • Proven track record to provide a consistently first-class customer service internally and/or externally
    • Ability to build effective working relationships (Internally/Externally), establishing credibility amongst a wide and demanding client group
    • Comfortable taking ownership and accountability for own work and for the team, identifying the need for action (using initiative) whilst working effectively within a team
    • Excellent verbal/written communication skills are required.
    Preferable Qualifications Insurance/ Enterprise Risk Management industry experience
