Associate II Software EngineerJob Posting Title: Associate II Software EngineerPosition summaryWe are looking for a passionate software engineer to join our Automotive team to support data distribution systems and data hubs and as well implement the next generation of features for auto applications. The role offers extensive business and technical challenges in a highly dynamic and collaborative work environment.Job DescriptionThe software engineer will design, implement, support and maintain software frameworks for the extraction from the operational data store and distribution of automotive data to customer platforms.Primary Responsibilities

  • Implement software solutions that extract, merge and enhance automotive data from operational data stores, persist the data in data marts and distribute them to customer facing solutions.
  • Requirements and specifications management, solution design, software development and system documentation.
  • Provide analytical and technical expertise within an automotive line of business or discipline.
  • Support and interact with both upstream source data analysts as well as downstream customer facing analysts.
  • Understand how the end customer uses the data within their business.
  • Prepare data and programs to produce cyclical and adhoc customer deliverables and reports.
Skills
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science with minimum 4 years related job experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced languages skills in PL/SQL. (Java and other Scripting Languages is a plus). Solid knowledge in TALEND or equivalent ETL frameworks.
  • Solid skills in ETL frameworks (TALEND is a plus)
  • Strong conceptual thinking.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong team player.
  • Strong skills in accessing data within Oracle databases using tools such as (Toad, SQL navigator, etc.).
  • APEX and JavaScript is a plus
  • PYTHON, SPARK or AWS technologies are a plus
