Job Description

    About the opportunityDepartment DescriptionThe Reward Team sits within the larger Human Resources function and works in partnership with HRBP s and business stakeholders to ensure that the India compensation and benefits plans and practices continue to aid attraction and retention of top performing talent and also facilitates achievement of India business priorities. The function is also responsible for working with FIL s compensation leads in other international locations to provide a wide range of support including Investment Management support, annual benchmarking service support on a range of ad hoc initiatives.Purpose of your role & Key ResponsibilitiesThe role of the Benefits Manager is to support with respect to compensation and benefits plans and practices. The role works closely with Head of Reward India and Head of Global Benefits and is responsible for the management of benefit programmes for India also support in range of other activities under Reward function. Specific responsibilities of this role include:
    • Act as a subject matter expert in the area of benefits
    • Support design the best technology solutions for Fidelity India benefits, embedding the global strategy and design principles into the plan design, balancing local relevance and global consistency.
    • Benefits SME for the implementation and management of benefits programmes in India.
    • Asist building the best practice and robust governance will be built within the framework of target operating model.
    • Support the implementation of benefits technology and work with Reward/Benefits/HRIS teams to ensure consistency of the technology and service delivery model across countries.
    • Overseeing and maintain a system for managing provider risks in financial, data and information security. Identify process risks and work with key stakeholders to implement resolution to the standard aligned to the company s values.
    • Support the creation of requirements and confirmation of As-Is process and capabilities.
    • Support the definition and validation of data and integration design
    • Lead user acceptance testing, operational acceptance testing, support integration testing
    • Contribute to the data migration cutover activities from SME standpoint.

    Experience and Qualifications Required
    • Graduate degree with relevant experience
    • Ability to think strategically with considerations for future sustainability
    • Solid operational experience to recognise multiple downstream impact of key decisions
    • Experience of managing employee benefits
    • Strong skills in operational planning, administration and proven, successful stakeholder management, at all levels.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a flair for numbers - ability to manipulate data and work with complex assumptions
    • Must be proactive, a self-starter, able to meet tight deadlines. Ability to operate independently with little supervision.
    • Excellent communicator with excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
    Systems Skills
    • Proficient with other Microsoft Office tools
    • Experience in implementation of benefit tool is an advantage
