The Deputy Project Manager is responsible for the overall lifecycle of a project from initiating, planning, executing, monitoring & controlling and closing. He/She must be familiar with system scope and project objectives. Application of knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project activities to meet the project requirements. As well as the role and function of each team member to effectively coordinate the activities of the team. He/She should be able to establish a strong project governance, manager stakeholders effectively and achieve the project objective & planned outcome. Roles & Responsibilities: Manage execution of the tasks as defined in the project plan in order to achieve the project goals Independently manage or Support Project Managers on projects Assist the Project Manager (if supporting) with the day to day project responsibilities, else manage them at their end Update artifacts as per the methodology and agreed documentation Update Project schedule as required Develop Status reports and other deliverables as required Create & maintain project risk tracker and identify mitigations along with seeking updates from relevant parties. Facilitate meetings & additionally document the discussion points and circulate to confirm the understanding of the attendees Schedule meetings and coordinate meeting logistics, materials, agendas, etc., as needed Create and maintain the project s communication plan Ensure meetings are scheduled as stated in the plan. Maintain distribution lists, SharePoint Site, PTO calendar and other project coordination artifacts too Qualifications: Any Graduate,
