About VertexOne: VertexOne is a fast growing, innovative company which develops SaaS meter-to-cash solutions for the North American Utility industry in areas of billing, customer service, digital engagement, Electronic Data Interchange, and operational/customer analytics.We provide services for over 400 utilities across the U.S. and Canada.Purpose: We are currently seeking a customer-centric, innovative, energetic, and highly motivated full stack developer to join our Product Software Development and Support Team. The developer is responsible for supporting and producing scalable SaaS solutions. You should have excellent knowledge of the full development life cycle, from conception to deployment and familiar with Agile methodologies.Has expertise in one or more public cloud provider technologies and can embed these capabilities into existing or new cloud-based solutions. Participate in end-to-end project/product development aspects starting from functional specification, technical designs, development, testing, deployment and support in accordance with agreed procedures together with technical contribution to the projects.Key Responsibilities Include:
• Responsible for delivering with-in specified timelines and as per notified quality standards.
• Understand & document requirements, design & devise solutions, estimation and deliver all the assigned applications.
• Develop, test and implement new software programs and services.
• Test, maintain and recommend software improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimization.
• Responsible for the applications support/development and maintaining the SLA 24x7.
• Identify ideas to improve system performance and impact availability.
• Should have high energy levels, be an enthusiast and goal oriented
• Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Quick Learner and Problem solver
• Possess up-to-date knowledge of technological developments in the industry.
• Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers.
Required Key Skills
• 6-8 years of experience in developing the web applications using Microsoft Development stack, C#, JavaScript, TSQL, XML, JSON, React/Angular JS, HTML 5, CSS 3 and Bootstrap.
• Excellent knowledge of ASP.Net, C#, MVC, Web services, Web API, O365 & Azure Integration, Azure REST APIs
• Hands-on experience withAzure Functions, API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus & Message Queues, Azure Storage
• Excellent knowledge.Net Framework, .Net Core & EF Core
• Excellent knowledgeRestful APIs and SOAP APIs
• KnowledgeMVC, Razor, Blazor & WCF
• Knowledge and understanding of object-oriented and service-oriented application development techniques and theories
• Knowledge OLTP and OLAP
• Knowledge of relation database (SQL Server, Maria DB, etc.) and non-relational database (MongoDB, ClickHouse, etc.)
• Experience working with Agile Methodology and Scrum Framework
• Good understanding Microservices Architecture, Domain Driven Design, SOLID Fundamentals, Unit Testing (and TDD) and modern development techniques.
• Good understanding of a DevOps environments and CI/CD
• Knowledge of Cloud Native Applications, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, WAF, etc.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Great attention to details.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and organization skills.
• Working knowledge of the energy industry, Billing/CIS and EDI systems is a plus.
• Working knowledge on VB.NET, WPF, Xamarin, Telerik Controls is a plus
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor/Masters Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years experience in developing .Net based applications for web and 2 years on cloud
• Excellent verbal/written communication and inter-personnel skills
