Job Description

  • Project Role :SW/Application Tech Support Practitioner
  • Project Role Description :Act as the ongoing interface between the client and the system or application. Dedicated to quality, using exceptional communication skills to keep our world class systems running. Can accurately define a client issue and can interpret and design a resolution based on deep product knowledge.
  • Management Level :9
  • Work Experience :6-8 years
  • Must Have Skills :Linux/Unix Desktop Management
  • Good To Have Skills :Ansible on Microsoft Azure
      • Key Responsibilities : 1 Perform Account Management, Performance Monitoring, Backup by Linux native tools and Logical Volume Management 2 Perform troubleshooting in a supportive environment, log files monitoring/analysis, and health check 3 Implement patch management and update of Security configurations as per clients applicable procedures 4 Perform network configuration and troubleshooting on Linux
      • Technical Experience : 1 Experience on incident, change and problem management process 2 Good knowledge on shell scripting, Ansible 3 Good Knowledge on CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu Suse 4 Experience with Access Management and root access Management 5 Administration of antivirus protection for the OS 6 Knowledge of server health check after incident resolution, make recommendations based on result of check 7 Experience with page file/swap space
      • Professional Attributes : 1 Take part in 24x7 Shift Rotations including Morning, Evening and Night Shifts 2 Work out of hours evenings, nights, weekends, bank holidays at reasonable request to perform production changes 3 Travel to other locations when required
