Job Description

    Head Expected End Results Major Activities Expected weightage- Pricing, Financial Modeling & Business Case Evaluation Efficiently and effectively evaluate any new business case and support with facts and analysis for approval or rejection of the same - Involvement in the entire business cycle of a Business Unit from the time of Proposal to Customer to tracking end profitability of the business generated- Formulate a model for pricing, as the need be- Thorough evaluation of commercials in any commercial proposals, RFP response documents- Compare and review along with previous business cases with somewhat similar delivery areas- Bring to notice, certain key elements, that are not in line with departmental/organisational strategy/financial targets- Vetting and negotiation of customer agreements keeping in mind the deal specific requirement and strategic intent75%- Financial Planning and Analysis Forecast, evaluate and monitor the Revenue, Opex and EBIDTA and based on comparison with Annual Operating Plan, propose actions to bring the Business Units P&L in line with Annual Operating Plan - Preparing the Annual Operating Plan at the start of FY in consultation with business head based on historical performance, forecast and departmental strategy- Prepare rolling 12 months- revenue forecast- Reporting monthly performance vis a vis Annual Operating Plan- Analysis and reporting of various expenses booked under different expense heads to make the Business Unit head take decisions on ongoing basis- Ensuring that proper costs are booked in the system- Identifying the key problem areas and anticipating their impact on future months- P&L- Discussions on Expense and Head count optimization for the Unit- Represent the unit from Finance side in periodic reviews with the CXO office25%Personal Characteristics and Behaviours: 1.
