Software Development experience interfacing with databases. Experience with relational database development, SQL, T-SQL Experience using IDE s Visual Studio, SQL Management Studio Experience with code management and change tracking tools (e.g. Git, JIRA, etc.) Object Oriented Software Development Worked with data access patterns and practices Solid analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Experience writing development-level documentation (detailed designs, defect write-up/analysis, solution analysis/proposals, test plans, test results, etc.) Strong understanding of different embedded software development life cycles (waterfall, iterative) and contemporary software quality assurance processes and automated tools Must have experience in working with distributed team members Minimum a BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline Strong interpersonal skills and strong written verbal and communication skills Able to quickly learn new processes, software tools, and programming languages with minimal direction Prior knowledge of using GitHub Required: BE (ECE/EIE/ETC/CSE) Degree in a technical field is required 4+ experience years on SQL programming is required Hand on knowledge with SQL, T-SQL, ODBC interfaces Create and maintain SQL Stored Procedures and functions - Mandatory Troubleshooting in SQL - Mandatory Performance management in SQL Mandatory Security in SQL Mandatory Building scalable database architectures, both conceptual and physical database model Understand security issues related to databases Familiarity with working on an agile teamSpecialized Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, problem solving and presentation skills Thorough knowledge of the software development area Able to work independently or in a team environment Able to take ownership and work on project timelines Self-motivated, takes initiative to resolve issues Ability to problem solve through analysis of a situation where there are a variety of variables Strong business acumen, coaching and mentoring skills Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate a highly skilled technical teamWhat we look for Software Development experience interfacing with databases.
