Job Description

  • Overall experience of 5 to 8 years in in Infrastructure Development / Automation, Devops, Containers.
  • Experience in CI/CD tools like Ansible, Jenkins, git etc.
  • Should have good understanding of Openstack ( or any other telco Private Cloud)

Key Result Areas:

  • Contribute in building the next generation telecommunications cloud infrastructure based on OpenStack, Kubernetes and the latest DevOps tools to hit the opensource space.
  • Develops prototypes, creates software tools for test and automation, and evaluates latest best practices
  • Follow automate everything approach with telco Cloud Infrastructure deployed as a Code (IaC).
  • Ensure relation with key stakeholders by frequent review meetings, proactive follow ups, feedbacks for customer satisfaction and avoiding escalation.
  • Provide expertise support to development team s activities at various levels as per business/management expectation.
  • Identify improvements, develop infrastructure services and automate manual work.
  • We eat containers for breakfast and Kubernetes for lunch and we ve set aside a portion for you with a side order of network and monitoring stack tuning.

Technical skills/knowledge

  • Experience in infrastructure configuration and automation preferably using Python and Ansible .
  • Good understanding of Openstack ( Telco Private Cloud) and its various services like Nova, Neutron, load balancers.
  • Hands on experience with Docker Kubernetes and helm chart development.
  • Experience in building up Infra as a Code using Terraform, Heat, Ansible etc.
  • Good experience in micro-services deployment. Well versed with Kafka, RabbitMQ etc.
  • Experience in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git etc.
  • Have knowledge of cloud monitoring tools and log management ( Prometheus , Grafana, EFK etc.)
  • Experience in handling private cloud for production grade deployments.
  • Advanced knowledge in Linux system (OS network).
  • Experience in agile way of working and tools like Jira etc.

Good to have :

  • Experience in creating CRDs and Operators in Kubernetes.
  • Hands on experience in SDN, Ceph and automated bare-metal provisioning.
  • Basic knowledge of Underlay and Overlay networking.
