Job Description

    CIB Fund Services Product Development Investment Manager Middle Office Services (IMOS) Project Management Associate About J.P. Morgan Investor Services J.P. Morgan s Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) is a global leader across Banking, Markets and Investor Services. The Custody and Fund Services business provides middle office services, custody, accounting and administration for investment managers and asset owners, including mutual funds, hedge funds, private equity, real estate funds, pension funds, and fund of funds. Middle Office Services (MOS) is key fund services product that provides asset managers the ability to leverage JP Morgan s operational expertise and market leading technology infrastructure to manage their trade processing, asset servicing, collateral management, reconciliation, and investment record functions. The product encompasses a multi-asset class offering across listed securities, equity swaps, cleared and OTC derivatives, and bank loans, with clients ranging from large Mutual Funds to Pension Funds to Hedge funds. The Role The Associate will be working in the business as part of the IMOS Product Development Project Management Office (PMO) and is responsible for management of the IMOS Product Development portfolio across multiple clients. This includes milestone management, coordination and communications for key program execution forums, data analysis, reporting and visualization. The role will provide significant visibility and engagement with securities services product development teams and leadership and with product management, finance and business management, client service teams, operations, and technology. Key responsibilities for this role include:
    • Monitoring and oversight of the Product Development book of work to ensure best practices followed across Product, Operations and Technology
    • General management, development and maintenance of the IMOS program artefacts throughout the full project lifecycle, from scope and requirements to production release
    • Identifying opportunities for standardization and implementing process improvements for roadmap delivery tracking and reporting.
    • Preparation of senior and business-wide communications for cross-program forums such as working groups, steering committees, design and strategy planning sessions, and other governance forums
    • Communication of IMOS product development efforts with all levels of the organization to keep team members and leadership apprised of progress and challenges
    Qualifications:
    • At least 2 years of financial industry experience
    • Detail oriented, logical and structured approach to planning and problem solving
    • Focus on end-to-end thought process and ability to connect-the-dots
    • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to to multitask and work under pressure
    • Energetic self-starter with s trong time management skills
    • Excellent communication capabilities, clearly and succinctly message with appropriate level of detail to cross-functional teams and senior management
    • Strong collaboration skills, able to work with many different individuals and partner effectively with different groups
    • Proven track record of effectively resolving issues and conflicts to ensure timely delivery
    • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint (workflows), Tableau, Alteryx, VBA/macros, and any other data visualization tools/software
