• Provides technical leadership to project team ensuring software components are developed and tested to Medtronic quality and regulatory standards

• Provides overall program leadership, and execution of the test strategy for the required Neuromodulation product development and program releases.
• Ensures the team s work products reflect highly professional standards and functional excellence.
• Ensures the product is developed as per the requirements of design control and good software engineering practices
• Actively participates in design verification activities and automation including verification and validation planning and testing.
• Participates in and potentially leads other activities, such as performing hazard and risk analysis, participating in requirements, design and code reviews, etc.
• Manage multiple products over short duration with high level of urgency.
• Plans and participates in hiring talent and improving team engagement.
• Works with management to develop and contribute to the Neuromodulation technology and product roadmap.
• Ability to influence all customers (both internal and external) on issues that impact the business and the product strategies
• Drives innovation of new product concepts and technologies to address unmet customer needs.
• Fosters a culture of inclusion and diversity, which retains and develops team members.
• Effectively communicates with all stakeholders.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Engineering.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in technical and program management encompassing mobile application testing on Android/iOS/ Other cross platform testing
• Exposure to any of the automation frameworks and tools; Selenium, Appium, UI Automator, PageObjects, Katalon
• Must have 2 or more years of experience in managing smaller teams.
• Proven track record of delivering complex programs on time and in budget
• Direct people management, having experience of managing a sizeable team working in hardware, firmware & software application development & verification activities
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within budget and meeting business expectations
• Experience in building and nurturing a high performing team that embraces innovation, creativity, quality and reliability including product features, technologies, infrastructure and tools
• Hands-on understanding of the application development lifecycle (right from requirement analysis to deployment)
• Working knowledge of Agile or SAFe software and Systems engineering
• Experience in working with Cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
• Effective and influential communicator (Oral & Written)
• Good analytical and problem solving skills to analyse the test failure and suggest the solutions for the same
• Demonstrated high values of ethics and integrity
• Hands-on experienced in object oriented software programming
• Knowledgeable and/or experience in desktop applications, web applications, mobile apps and/or embedded software technology.
