Job Description

    Roles and ResponsibilitiesTest and QA Skills:Demonstrates a working understanding of planning, developing and coordinatingtesting activities including Test Plan creation, Test Case creation, debugging,execution, test analysis.Demonstarte an understanding on the estimation techaniques and QA planDemonstrates analytical skills in assessing user, functional and technical requirementsDemonstrates a working understanding of functional testing techniques andstrategies.Demonstrates a strong understanding of web testing techniques and web testingstrategies.Demonstrates a working understanding of Cloud(Azure) based servicesDemonstrates a working understanding of test analysis and design.Demonstrates a working understanding of analyzing test results and the creationof appropriate test metrics.Demonstrates a working understanding of the defect management process.Demonstrates a working understanding of quality assurance and/or softwaredevelopment processes and methodologies, with the ability to share thatknowledge with peers, and project team membersIdentifies ways of working smarter, through elimination of unnecessary stepsor duplicationTools/Technology Skills:Demonstrates an understanding and working experience on SQL databases and ETL testing. Should be able to write queries to validate the table mappings and structuresShould be able to perform schema validationsGood understanding of SCD typesStrong knowledge of database methodologyIn-depth understanding of Data Warehousing/Business intelligence conceptsWorking experience on cloud(Azure) based servicesWorking experience in testing BI reportsShould be able to write queries to validate the data quality during migration projectsDemonstrates an understanding of any of the peripheral technologies utilized in SDC, including Peoplesoft, SAP and Aderant.Demonstrates a working understanding of tools like UFT and TFSExperience with Microsoft tools is highly desiredUnderstands enterprise wide networks and software implementations.Must have previous experience in creating complex SQL queries for data validation.Must have testing experience in Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)Project Skills:Strong communication skills regarding technical topics and remote collaborationskills are critical to this role.Demonstrates an ability to provide accurate project estimates and timelines.Demonstrates an ability to deliver on project commitments.Produces work that consistently meets quality standards.Leadership Skills:Demonstrates the ability to operate as the primary resource on a projectDemonstrates the ability to work with peers on project assignments.Demonstrates a working ability to foster a cooperative environment with theentire project team.
