If you have this type of passion, we invite you to take a look at the opportunities available to come join our team.Candidate:The Cloud & Virtualization Software (CVS) QA Team is looking for Software System Designer 2 who would be primarily responsible for developing automation and running nightly integration and validation tests to qualify host and guest drivers across multiple hypervisors and host operating systems. In addition, the candidate will also be participating in process optimization. Occasionally, the candidate would also be expected to debug, and triage issues reported by validation engineers and engage with the CVS Dev Team.Key Responsibilities:
    • Execute automated tests for nightly builds of guest and host drivers across hypervisors and operating systems to early discover and report critical defects.
    • Continuously contribute towards automation framework by code submissions and framework defect fixes.
    • Define/develop/execute regression test models and track the results.
    • Develop new test cases/plans and optimize existing ones.
    • Prepare and present status reports on the progress of the validation activities and issues discovered on testing with nightly builds.
    • Actively coordinate with multiple teams to drive quality issues that block testing to closure.
    • Evaluate and review existing processes and continuously strive to optimize the workflow.
    • Continuously evaluate the processes to improve test efficiency and coverage.
    • Participate in debugging and triage of customer-reported issues and work closely with the development and accounts team to drive the issue to closure.
    • Weekly interlocks with team members across different geographies
    Key Requirements:
    • BTech/MTech in Computer Science or MCA from a University or reputed Institute with 3 -8 years of experience. Candidates with a degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with relevant experience are welcome to apply.
    • Prior experience in programming and automation with at least 2 of the following is mandatory: C, C++, Python, Bash, and Perl.
    • Familiarity with requirements/lifecycle management tools, such as Jira and Confluence.
    • Prior experience with graphics validation will be an added advantage.
    • Knowledge of virtualization technologies and experience with hypervisors and operating systems. Prior experience with VMware ESXi, Citrix XenServer, Microsoft Azure, and AWS AppStream is a plus.
    • Experience with PC/server hardware setup and troubleshooting
    • Should possess good problem-solving, critical thinking, time management, and prioritization skills.
    • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral are required.
    • Have the ability to handle project execution and be a good organizer and coordinator.
