The IT Service (ITS) Technical Support team is looking to hire an experienced Warehouse Manager to join us and play a critical role in managing the front-line operations team within our IT Services Warehouse and Logistics site in Hyderabad. As an integral part of the Amazon AWS IT Service Technical Support team, you will be responsible for designing warehouse layout & internal logistics routine, optimizing internal logistics operation processes, procedures to improve the efficiency continuously, optimize inventory structure and improve inventory turns to minimize operational cost. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that all warehouse processes are running smoothly.Key Responsibilities: Supporting all safety programs to ensure a safe work environment for all Associates Adhering to all warehousing, handling and shipping compliance requirements Leading, directing and optimizing our distribution network throughout India region to ensure maximum efficiency and reduce costs Managing inventory control and reconciling with data storage system Leading and developing a team of Amazon associates Developing performance goals and objectives to achieve customer promise expectations and ensure accuracy and quality Partnering with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards Driving innovation aligned with logistics and IT industry good practices and trends Ensuring that the IT warehouse and asset lifecycle management processes remain compliant with InfoSec guidelines through proactive audits and other mechanisms Incorporating quality control in all aspects of IT warehouse managementBasic Qualification: Bachelor s Degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration or another related area. 14+ years of managing warehouse or offsite distribution, supply chain and/or logistics experience. 5+ years managing a cross-functional teams working from multiple sites. Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices and ability to implement process improvement initiatives Solid analytical and problem-solving skills for prompt decision making. Fluent written and verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate to internal & external stakeholders.
