POSITION SUMMARY The Senior Data Analyst prepares and processes data for multiple research projects and assists clients with questionnaire design to optimize survey instruments for online interviewing. This position is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of cross-tabulations, ASCII and SPSS files and participates in the training and mentoring of team members. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES These include the following. Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of management in the context of the role. 1. Produce cleaned data files, ensuring all question bases, cell assignments and quota targets are accurately represented in the data. (15%) 2. Table data for projects of medium to high complexity. (20%) 3. Review all data files and tables for completeness and accuracy. (20%) 4. Escalate problems to manager for assistance as needed. (5%) 5. Consult with clients on the design of questionnaires, ensuring the survey instrument is optimized for online interviewing. (15%) 6. Train and mentor team members on new products and services. (15%) 7. Work closely with the Survey Programming Team to provide perspective the impact of question structure on data deliverables. Education and Experience: Master s degree in related field or equivalent work experience.5 years work experience in market research or equivalent.5 years survey data table preparation and coding or related experience or equivalent.Specialized Skills: Expert Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Understanding of internal data processing systems and other company applications.SPSS, Quantum and Sawtooth knowledge and experienceStrong knowledge of other specialized software programs like Wincross used to collect data from market research studies. years survey data table preparation and coding or related experience or equivalent.,
