Operating within a collaborative SAFe environment, we aim to deliver effective solutions focused on business value.What you will be doingSoftware Engineer will work on projects where person will play an active role in developing software enhancements and new products for the servicing platforms. A vigilant developer, and will work on the planning, designing and coding of enhancements for our current offerings & will also work with cross-functional teams to build software solutions for current issues or to incorporate advancements in technology. • Preferably 4-8 years of experience in developing Android applications.
• Strong knowledge in Core Java, Android SDK and Android IDE i.e. Android Studio.
• Strong understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Should have Kotlin basics hands-on with the ability to write code in Kotlin.
• Good in OOPs fundamentals.
• Strong working knowledge of SQLite, Room Database.
• Experience in RESTful API.
• Experience with third-party libraries like support libraries, Google play services, Firebase SDK, Retrofit.
• Working knowledge of Android Unit Testing.
• Having knowledge in GitHub.
• Working knowledge of Android design patterns like MVC, MVVM, MVP.
• Having Experience in Material Design.
• Experience in working projects on Agile methodology.
• Good Communication Skills.
• Good to have Payment domain knowledge.
• Analyse, design and develop software features and enhancements, and take full ownership of the tasks assigned
• Participate in team Scrum meetings, and interact with various stakeholders
• Develop and debug code, and write unit and end-to-end test cases
• Receive general supervision and is competent in most phases of programming to work on own
• Positive outlook, strong work ethic, and responsive to internal and external clients
• Be flexible to learn and work on new technologies
• Excellent functional programming abilities, with exposure towards frontend development
• Ability to work across multiple tools, frameworks and technology stacks.
• Skills leveraging SOA technologies such as web services, SOAP, and REST Architecture
• Hands on experience on Clean coding practices
• Understanding and Experience with Unit Testing Framework and Concepts
• Experience with Source control, change tracking, version control tools (E.g., Git, Rally)
