Educational Qualification and Experience: Masters in Economics/Statistics/Mathematics or Engineering Graduate. Must have at least five (05) years of working experience at international / national / sub-national level on government projects. Knowledge and understanding of national as well as subnational Budget, cash and debt related procedures. Must have experience in working on macroeconomic data sets, MIS, evaluation, etc. at national or sub-national governments. Must have knowledge and understanding with the economic analyses with various parameters GDP / GSDP, economic outlook and macro-economic trends, lead indicators and indices, fiscal parameters, retail and wholesale inflation, financial markets and banking updates, RBI policies and relevant applications for economic etc. Must have knowledge, of conducting medium-term as well as long-term economic analytic research and forecasting, studies, and preparing analytical reports on relevant macroeconomic and policy issues, relevant product research, commodities research, and scenario planning and analyses. Must be proficient in analytics including regression / extrapolation / interpolation and other statistical methodologies. Must have knowledge and experience of analytical tools and methods. Higher educational qualifications, and additional working experience will be given additional weightage.
