The individual must have strong experience in Design , Development , Customization and Production Support of Cognos Report Studio , Cognos Framework manager , Oracle - SQL - PLSQL and Unix. Excellent communication skills are a must for this position. Technical skills should complement the problem solving and communication skills to deliver Candidates must be demonstrating a willingness to learn new technologies and business processes as required. Job Responsibilities Developer Responsibilities: Complete understanding of the business requirements and BRD as per the specification. Participate in business analysis activities to gather required reporting and dashboard requirements Need to participate in all phases like Analysis , requirement gathering , Design , Development of code and production support. Create Framework manger model as per the requirement. Translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reports and dashboards. Create Report Pages , prompt pages , different types of filters and calculative fields. Executing unit tests and validating expected results; iterating until test conditions have passed Providing end to end support for the projects such as Development , environment migrationtesting support and production support. After each post migration , analysing and fixing the defects raised by SITUAT team. Transition developed reports and dashboards to the Operations Support team. Production support Responsibilities: Complete understanding of the business requirements and problem statement as per the specification. Analysing and supporting several tickets raised by business and other streams. Analyse and support change requests. Provide support as required to ensure the availability and performance of developed reports and dashboards for both external and internal users After each post migration in case of bug fix , analysing and fixing the defects raised by SITUAT team. Key Skills SQL , Cognos is must. Desirable Skills Investment banking domain knowledge Qualifications Bachelor Degree or above from an accredited college or university (or equivalent)
