Job Description

    Mandatory expectation for all roles as per Syngene safety guidelines
    • Overall adherence to safe practices and procedures of oneself and the teams aligned
    • Contributing to development of procedures, practices and systems that ensures safe operations and compliance to company s integrity & quality standards
    • Driving a corporate culture that promotes environment, health, and safety (EHS) mindset and operational discipline at the workplace at all times.
    • Ensuring safety of self, teams, and lab/plant by adhering to safety protocols and following environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace.
    • Ensure all assigned mandatory trainings related to data integrity, health, and safety measures are completed on time by all members of the team including self
    • Compliance to Syngene s quality standards at all times
    • Hold self and their teams accountable for the achievement of safety goals
    • Govern and Review safety metrics from time to time
    Job Purpose: The role will contribute to create and deliver quality proposals in the Biologics Business Unit. Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide support in managing customer requests for information and responses to requests for proposals.
    • Identify/construct information for proposal technical content and cost sheet development. Work closely with the technical team to prepare and finalize proposals.
    • Take complete end-to-end responsibility for the quality of a proposal that gets submitted in the Biologics space, taking cognizance of the scope and time commitments
    • Is accountable for timely delivery of assigned opportunities to the Business development team
    • Work along with the Technical and Business Development teams to come up with competitive pricing.
    • Contribute to the content library by submitting new content or updates to existing content, using the official content submission process.
    Educational Qualification:
    • Master s Degree in Life Sciences/Biotech; MBA desirable.
    Technical/functional Skills:
    • Knowledge of Contract Research Organization industry
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and understanding of costing models
    • Ability to interpret Request for Proposals (RFPs) and protocols
    • Possess strong analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and customers.
    • Good writing skills.
    • Possess the knowledge and exposure to environment, health, and safety (EHS) practices
    Experience:
    • 7-12 years experience in Biologics technical (R&D/Manufacturing), proposal management, project/program management or business development role in Biologics/Biology services/products.
    Behavioral Skills:
    • Good communication skills both written and spoken.
    • Situational awareness and adaptability.
    • Interact effectively and harmoniously with other people.
    • Good team player.
