Youll be involved in the technical and design aspects of building new pages along with maintenance of the existing site. The ideal candidate will have a passion for all things in marketing and stay current with the latest in web design and development trends.Key Responsibilities: Plan, co-ordinate, execute and review end to end web development process, starting from gathering requirements from internal stakeholders, designing information architecture, developing content management principles, developing and refining design process, creating development timelines, usability testing and deployment Regularly connect with Business leaders and internal stakeholders to discuss new functionality and business requirements Collaborate and coordinate with external web development agency to develop custom requirements, enhancements, and solutions Serve as a liaison between the Marketing and Information Technology Services regarding web development and technologies providing recommendations, insight, and support as needed to integrate front-end assets to backend systems Keep the website optimized for SEO and performance Should monitor and report usability, performance and user experience on the websites using different analytics and digital intelligence system Stay plugged into latest technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities to ascertain what kind of information the website should contain Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety. Ensure environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures are imparted via training and adhered within the team.Educational Qualifications: Master s / Bachelors degree in Web design/development, Computer Science, multimedia design or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)Technical/functional Skills: He / She will be solely responsible for Designing, building, updating, and maintaining company website to meet the security and functionality standards as per company s policies Should have good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and other relevant web design coding languages Experience working with different content management systems like WordPress, Joomla, Magento, etc. Should understand UI, cross-browser compatibility, and general web functions and standards Ability to articulate technical concepts and communicate effectively in both technical and business environments Ability to work independently with little supervision Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or any other data visualization tools will be an added advantage Research and analyze competitor websites to understand their strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities Experience with AWS is a plus (Hosting new applications and monitoring existing applications) Strong grasp of recent trends in website development and technologyExperience: 7+ years of professional front-end development with experience in building and maintaining WordPress / Drupal websites Experience integrating CMS with other systems, e.g., Salesforce CRM Proven success in a project coordination role Hands-on experience in creating well-designed, tested code using best practices for website development, including mobile and responsive site design Should have a high level of SEO experience, specifically onsite optimization, but also a full and broad knowledge of effective SEO strategies and techniques Working knowledge of A/B testing, multivariate experiments to provide performance analysis Data and optimization proposals Familiar with optimizing site speed, fixing broken link & security issues, Maintaining UI/UX to make the site responsive and do database maintenance with the help of development agency Advanced Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, macros, and charting Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or any other data visualization tools will be an added advantageBehavioral Skills: Good Oral & Written Communication Time Management Attention to Detail Project Management Requirement Elicitation & Analysis Willingness to learn NegotiationEqual Opportunity Employer: It is the policy of Syngene to provide equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all persons regardless of age, color, national origin, citizenship status, physical or mental disability, race, religion, creed, gender, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, genetic information, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable legislation or local law.
