Job Description

    You will demonstrate a proactive mindset for process development, assist in increasing automation and utilisation of equipment, support and contribute to Lean Sigma programs and activities, whilst supporting colleagues, Section Leaders and Managers to meet quality, delivery and cost objectives.You will comply with the companys safety, environmental and quality policies at all times.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Creation, modification and verification of 3, 4 & 5-axis programs and supporting information, for a range of processes, machine tools and CNC control languages
    • Preparation, issuing and control of detailed 2D drawings, 3D models and associated production documentation
      • Ref: ISO128 drawing standard
    • Utilise and support CNC machine tool network
    • Drive improvements and cycle time reduction through process and tooling optimisation
    • Verification of own and others work
    • Interface with and provide technical support to Global Design team and site production staff
    • Comply with all corporate and local site Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality policies, procedures and regulations
    • Comply with all machine instructions and ensure proper use of equipment and assets
    • Comply with all process work instructions, control plans, maintenance and safety schedules
    • Read, understand & interpret Engineering drawings correctly
    • Act in accordance with the Companys Code of Conduct and Guiding Principles
    • Report any near miss accidents, incidents or HSE irregularities
    • Ensure that your work area(s) are always kept clean and tidy
