Job Description

    Description : Build the solution for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using data ingestion methods and transformation components. Following technology skills are required Experience of working in Microsoft Azure tech stack - Azure ADLS, Blob store, Databricks, ADF, Data Flows, Azure functions and LogicApps. Good knowledge on other CSP (Cloud solution platform) e.g., AWS is acceptable. Deep understanding of PaaS and IaaS cloud patterns and system architectures. Should have understanding of HDInsight (preferred), Spark (preferred), Snowflake. Should be comfortable with databases Azure SQL database, Synapse, CosmosDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL. Applying object-oriented and functional programming styles to real-world Big Data Engineering problems using Python (preferred)/Java/Scala. Should have knowledge of release and configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet, etc.). Handling large data sets (structured, semi-structured and unstructured, flat files, XML sources, JSON and Parquet files) and perform data wrangling, analysis, etc., using various SQL & NoSQL database technologies, and programming languages such as Python (preferred)/ Java/Scala. Should have clear concepts of data warehousing and ETL (desirable). Should have understanding of API management, SOAP, Rest. Develop data pipelines to perform batch and Real - Time/Stream analytics on structured and unstructured data. Should have good understanding of Azure Devops, Git, GitHub, design and implementation of CI/CD maximising the speed and quality of software and system delivery and minimising unit costs across platforms. Ensure availability, scalability, maintainability, performance and monitoring of systems. Should have knowledge of Azure monitor and log analytics. Should be well versed with automated unit testing framework and pytest (preferable), unittest. Should have good understanding of Data Migration processes, methods, SDLC, DevOps and DevSecOps. Manage build automation, release, deployment and configuration activities of the DevOps platform. Should be well versed with code quality tools (SonarQube), processes and implementation. Should have worked in Agile culture. Strong analytical skills and troubleshooting skills.
