Job Description

    What you will do- Help customers evolve from thinking about OpenShift as mere infrastructure to OpenShift as technology which can increase business value; articulate potential business changes, backed by Red Hat technology, that can promote tangible business value- Use your knowledge of public, private, and hybrid cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud etc.) to guide the customer on the most appropriate hosting environment for OpenShift based on their strategic goals- Build and follow strategic customer engagements, following Red Hat standard offers, like the Application Portfolio Assessment framework, to support a risk-focused approach to modernization based on a clear understanding of the customer s current state architecture, key performance indicators, workloads, development environment, and lines of business concerns- Advise and set up workflows and programs for application modernizationBecome a virtual Red Hat member of the customer s team, enabling and mentoring customers in the development and deployment of applications on OpenShift- Apply analysis and define modernization strategies from Red Hat s middleware portfolio, e.g., FUSE, 3Scale and business automationRepresent EMEA as a subject matter expert in global solution development sprints- Support the EMEA Regions with awareness and enablement- Support the EMEA regions with pre-sales activities such discovery sessions, requests for information (RFIs), and requests for proposal (RFPs) What you will bring - 5+ years of experience in similar roles- 3+ years of experience with Linux system administration, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or a derivative- Knowledge of Ansible/Puppet/chef/Terraform is a nice to have- Experience contributing to successful modern cloud platform consulting engagements- Linux proficiency, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)- Broad and deep technical experience with one or more virtualization and cloud technologies like OpenStack, Red Hat Virtualization, VMWare vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Amazon Web Services (AWS), IBM Cloud, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure- Applied knowledge and experience working in agile, scrum, and DevOps teams- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Italian- Practical and experienced knowledge of Kubernetes on Google - Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) is a plus- Ability to excel in English is a plus,
