Job Description

    Greetings!We have an urgent requirement for the position of Database Administrator .Location-KharagpurAs a DBA you will be managing the environment for a large scale and high availability database systems. You will perform development and day-to-day maintenance/monitoring of on-premises/on-cloud Databases.Roles and ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities include but are not limited to:DB creationUser access management: user creation, roles, permissions and user access policy creation and maintnenance.DB backup manual + automatedDB import/export job creationSchedule based DB purgingStore procedure creation as per requirementSSIS + SSRS configurationApplication of SQL commands as per requirement: DDL, DCL, DML, TCL, DQLSSIS package modification using Microsoft Visual StudioDB health monitoring, query optimization,DB UAT for new application developmentImplementation & maintenance of DB mirroring, replication, log shipping, clustering & always on availability groups.Implementation and maintenance ofCreation of linked servers, DB DB connection using ODBC/relevant drivers b/w on-prem as well as on-cloud (Types: MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)Preparation and maintenance of relevant DB documents like data catalog, ER diagram etc16. Integrating on-prem MS SQL to CloudSQL using import/export wizard, CDC, Kafka/Debezium other relevant tools.17. Integrating MS Sharepoint list to CloudSQL/extracting data from Sharepoint list using Python/other tools.18.
