Delivery Manager - NA Public Sector - Intelligence Community (TS w/ SCI FSP Required)Posting Location : Location Remote US DCPosting date 22 hours ago(6/22/2021 3:43 AM) Job summary The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for a Delivery Manager to join us in Washington, D.C. In this role, you will support a specific subregion within the North America public sector (NAPS). You will manage a subregional portfolio, collaborating with delivery leads, the Sales team, the Resource Management Office (RMO), the Operations team, and other delivery stakeholders. You ll be responsible for delivery excellence within the subregional portfolio, including risk management, project escalations, customer satisfaction, consistent delivery management, and portfolio financials. In addition to subregional governance, you will serve as project manager on one medium to high complexity project. As a Delivery Manager, you will assume people management responsibilities of NAPS client managers, project managers, and project coordinators within their assigned subregions. You ll need to have knowledge of the NAPS project life cycle management and Red Hat s technologies and experience with various project management tools and methodologies. Primary job responsibilities

• Provide oversight and governance of the intelligence community subregion within NAPS
• Assist with direction, growth, and maturity of content and project life cycle to incorporate tools, processes, and lessons learned
• Maintain awareness of emerging Red Hat technologies
• Manage Subregional Project portfolio; be accountable for the successful delivery of all projects within the assigned subregion, ensuring quality project delivery, positive customer experience, and effective employee engagement
• Manage Subregional Strategic Program portfolio; be accountable for rolling up program status from Client Managers, assisting with executive-level escalations, and working with cross-functional Red Hat leaders to ensure program success
• Communicate closely with NAPS Leadership regarding all aspects of their portfolio
• Serve as the escalation point of contact for issues beyond project or program team authority; resolve conflicts involving project priorities, resources, or contractual issues with the customer
• Manage people through engagement and team building
• Support organization direction while creating a high-performance, high morale working environment
• Build positive working relationships and partnerships with external and internal stakeholders to be a trusted advisor
• Ensure all team members adhere to Red Hat Policies of Code of Conduct, Ethics, Security, and any required training
• Conduct or participate in periodic and project and program closeout reviews
• Review complex subregional statements of work (SOWs) to ensure proper scope and level of effort for project or program governance
• Audit delivery utilization and make allocation changes if needed
• Complete required Red Hat Managers training
• Support and manage Red Hat administrative tasks with the RMO, Operations, and Project Accounting
• Contribute and maintain NAPS delivery templates, collateral, and artifacts
• Serve as a mentor to senior, mid, and junior associates
• Support project quality improvements
• Align and contribute to the evolution of the delivery management strategy and delivery to ensure consistency
• Instill an organizational project or program delivery discipline and increase adoption of services delivery fundamentals, principles, and methodologies
• Serve as project manager on one medium to high complexity project

Required skills

• Experience leading teams of 10+ consulting delivery resources
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with a collaborative style; ability to participate at the executive, strategic, and tactical levels of the customer
• 10+ years of extensive customer interface experience in consulting, professional services, program management, or a similar position
• Excellent customer service, relationship building and management, and facilitation skills; ability to influence peers, supervisors, and subordinates across the business to achieve business outcomes
• Experience with financial outlooks and actuals, supply and demand management, and forecast management
• Involved leadership style; ability to lean in on initiatives to promote successful outcomes
• Ability to participate in a virtual office setting and maintain an active and dynamic presence
• Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies and various project management tools
• Knowledge of Red Hat technologies
• BA or BS in relevant field
• Willingness to need 75% of the time or as needed
• Top Secret SCI with Full Scope Polygraph is required
