Job Description

    Role description: Senior Editor / QC Lead Content Marketing (Assistant Manager position)Team Size expected to handle: 2-5(writer(s)+/editor)Experience Required: 5 to 8 years (preferably in Publishing, Advertising, Media and Entertainment, Marketing)We are looking for someone who can take a very close look at some of our key deliverables to global technology/manufacturing/retail giants. And all such content follow stringent tone of voice guidelines. The job involves editing and reviewing content for both B2B & B2C clients and engaging appropriate audiences with relevant, thoroughly researched, compliant to T-o-V, and data backed information. Though our client base emanates from the B2B segment, it will be a bonus if you can have a flair for writing/editing B2C copy as well. The role includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities:
    • Serve as an expert in editing and proofreading a variety of documents to ensure flawless grammar and syntax (Documents may include research reports, whitepapers, blogs, product descriptions, product portfolios etc.)
    • Understand the objectives of different documents and conduct the review accordingly
    • Review and add value to content through rephrasing, rewriting, and ensuring compliance with clients brief and guidelines
    • Ensure that reviewed content meets international standards of quality and tone of voice
    • Collaborate with writers/ editors to ensure highest quality of output

    • Familiarity with style guides such as The Chicago Manual of Style, MMOS, and the Associated Press Stylebook
    • Ability to read and quickly incorporate guidelines/stylistic rules as demanded by the project
    • Ability to edit content without deviating from the original meaning and context
    • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders including team and clients
    • MS Word Basics
    Educational Qualifications
    • A Masters or Bachelors degree in English/Literature/Journalism/Comparative Literature
    • Other degrees will be considered as long as formidable editing expertise is established
    • A course in editing/publishing will be an added advantage
