This responsibility extends to coordination and integration where required of Project Delivery Systems across all functions and disciplines, such as Engineering Design Systems, Engineering Data Management Systems (EDM), Engineering Specifications Management, Project Management Systems, Construction Management Systems, Project Control Systems (Estimating, Planning, Cost Control, Progressing), Procurement Systems etc. Third Party hosted systems, information technology Systems and other enterprise systems including iM Infrastructure.Project Pursuit

  • Review Requests for Proposals to identify system requirements and risks.
  • Contribute to proposal development where information is required pertaining to Worley systems.
  • Review the project contract and scope with stakeholders to identify and document the system, data and document requirements. Ensure risks are logged on the project risks register.
Project Set-up
  • Liaise with Customer and ensure Information and document handover meets contractual requirements.
  • Consult on industry information governance including best practices.
  • Contribute to the project s deliverable plan.
Project Initiation and Support
  • Stewardship/Coordination/Facilitation for planning, implementation, configuration, integration, function, testing and training of systems used on a project as defined in EMS document Project Delivery Set-up Procedure, PMP-1155
  • Coordination of systems support and escalated issues resolution, including interfacing with:
    • Project and Improve Systems (PAIS) and Global Engineering Systems groups
    • iM Services Coordinator for iM Systems and Infrastructure delivery and support
    • Software vendors for support/consultancy, where necessary
    • Customer or third parties for systems interface issues resolution
  • Ensure project systems meet applicable standards, regulations, procedures and work processes.
  • Assist the Project Leadership team in evaluating changes to the projects and their impact on scope, costs and schedule
  • Utilize decision and change management processes to identify and document changes in scope, work plans, cost estimates and risks in collaboration with stakeholders for systems related activities.
  • Provide feedback to project and department management pertaining to systems effectiveness, benefits, and lessons learned.
  • Promote engagement with System Groups across Worley through sharing local innovation ideas/processes, disseminating system best practice processes and providing feedback
  • Champion Process Improvement
  • Working with and through the various project participants looking for opportunities to optimize work processes in service delivery.
Project Document Development
  • Develop, consult and support the Project Execution plans.
  • Provide input and support the Project Workshare plan.
  • Provide input and support the Project Business Continuity Plan and ensure alignment with the Location Business Continuity Plan.
  • Ensure the procedures and processes are in place to regulate access and control to project data in all repositories.
  • Ensure a process is in place to perform data and metadata integrity audits prior to turnover.
  • Ensure projects follow customer and corporate turnover and retention procedures.
  • Facilitation of project systems and information management closeout and archive activities.
, *Knowledge / Experience / Competencies Required
  • Relevant post-secondary education in Business, Information or Engineering Technology
  • At least 5 year s relevant experience within the Engineering/Procurement/Construction (EPC) or Exploration & Production (E&P) industries
  • A good working knowledge of owner/operators data and document requirements.
  • Strong fundamental knowledge of relational databases.
  • Strong communication skills and a proven ability to directly and indirectly manage others
  • Working knowledge of project delivery systems with specific expertise in one or more EPC functions as specified above
  • Working knowledge of industry-specific software and information governance
  • Industry certification an asset
  • Affiliation to industry association an asset
