    ESG Research Manager 3-4yrs Exp Kolkata Salary As per Market StandardsJob Category: Banking & BFSIJob Type: Full TimeJob Location: KolkataSalary: As per market StandardsYears of Experience: 3-4Research ManagerReporting to : Head of ESG ResearchLocation: Kolkata, currently: remote.The RoleAs part of the Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) ESG Analytics team, the ResearchManager will be responsible for scientific and technical leadership over the pole and formanaging the ESG research activities associated to the pole.Key Responsibilities: Contribute and/or propose thought leadership initiative in order to promote visibility of companys relevant research within its stakeholders community. Maintain sector expertise within the pole, for expanding it and making it visible to internal and external stakeholders (clients, conferences, NGOs, etc). Expand the poles knowledge and competencies, promote a culture of quality and information, develop their critical senses, their taste for research and analysis, and of having the satisfaction of a job well done. Follow-up news, observe performances and question the evolution and perspectives of Research regarding the pole, identify potential continuous improvement opportunities. Assess target market and thematic trends to understand positioning and enhancement requirements of product and other related offerings. Monitor and communicate emerging trends and requirements in ESG investing amongst clients, internal stakeholders and within the business leaders community. Guarantee the respect of the Agency processes, quality standards and research principles for the pole. Identify and fix difficulties and dysfunctions, identify good practices and share them within the pole. Ensure the freshness and consistency of sector customization and of associated analysis conducted in strict respect with the Agency principles. Act as an ESG expert and advisor to internal Sales Teams applying both product/thematic knowledge and client expertise. Support sales in identifying product needs or usage, opportunities for value creation for clients (upselling and cross-selling opportunities)The Candidate: Bachelors degree or equivalent and/or experience in related discipline (Sustainability,corporate social responsibility (CSR), Sustainable Finance) Around 3-4 years of work experience in a related field Have a strong interest in ESG, CSR, Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) and/or sustainable development Knowledge of relevant ESG or Specialised Research lines / Expertise in the concerned industries (Real Estate, Building materials, Construction) is a plus Ability to lead multicultural teams Fluency in English (English as a working language) Ability to communicate to a wide range of audiences in an effective way both written and oral Demonstrate expertise on corporate social responsibility, responsible investments,principles of actions defining the Rating framework. Good people management and motivational skills such as supervision, coaching Can-do attitude, with pro-active problem-solving skillsUnderstanding of Quality Processes like ISO, CMM, etc.Information Security Responsibility Maintain Confidentiality and Integrity of organization information.
