More than 8 years industry engineering experience, in either a software or analytics-intensive industrial company, as part of an agile software engineering team, building and running highly available customer-facing products. You can demonstrate expertise and technical skills in cloud native microservice design and implementation. Expertise in at least one compiled programming language and its development ecosystem (compilers, build tools, testing, logging, debugging, monitoring tools, libraries, etc) e.g Java 11, Spring and Spring Boot (Reactive Stack), IntelliJ, Git, GitHub etc. Expertise in at least one scripting programming language (python, perl, ruby, lua) and its development ecosystem (as above). Working knowledge of APIs, micro-services, reactive & event streaming & cloud technologies, frameworks and tooling; e.g Kafka, Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes & Helm, Azure, GCP or AWS. You re used to working in an agile devOps team and experienced with CI/CD, BDD/TDD, unit testing (Junit), test automation frameworks & no outage deployments. Experience and proficiency with SQL and NoSQL Using enterprise scale patterns: 12-factor applications, CQRS, eventual consistency, multi-region etc. Familiarity with building customer-facing UIs (not a frontend developer role). Must play a role of Mentor on need basis Should share user case study with the team. Good familiarity with web server applications, web protocols, authentication, authorisation.
