Job Description

    Mandatory expectation for all roles as per Syngene safety guidelines
    • Overall adherence to safe practices and procedures of oneself and the teams aligned
    • Contributing to development of procedures, practices and systems that ensures safe operations and compliance to company s integrity & quality standards
    • Driving a corporate culture that promotes environment, health, and safety (EHS) mindset and operational discipline at the workplace always.
    • Ensuring safety of self, team, and lab/plant by adhering to safety protocols and following environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace.
    • Ensure all assigned mandatory trainings related to data integrity, health, and safety measures are completed on time by all members of the team including self
    • Compliance to Syngene s quality standards at all times
    • Hold self and their teams accountable for the achievement of safety goals
    • Govern and Review safety metrics from time to time
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Manage and motivate team of engineers by setting clear objectives and deliver maintenance SLA s with highest level of Safety and Quality for the GMP operations.
    • Drive implementation of TPM initiative to improve the performance in Maintenance and reduce MTTR of the equipment by clearly measuring data and performance parameters.
    • Best in class delivery of SLA s through a balance of inhouse and outsourced activities, tracking the performance metrics and develop continuous improvement plan.
    • Budget maintenance expenses related to facility upkeep, spares and service contracts. Benchmark practices to global best standards and optimize cost of operations.
    • Overall Asset management from installation till asset retirement, tracking performance through analytics ensuring performance to global best standards for equipment effectiveness.
    • Manage resources like electrical power, operations and maintenance of utilities to optimize consumption and control cost. Set clear performance indicators and ensure deliverables in line with set targets.
    • Bring in automation in condition monitoring, use data analytics tools thereby ensuring higher reliability on overall equipment performance, rolling out reliability centered maintenance.
    • Provide other solutions from Engineering perspective enabling business to expand and grow into newer areas of researching in science.
