Job OverviewInstructional Designer with Authoring Tool experience and Quality Review skillsJob Description

• Work with Subject Matter Experts (SME) and identify target audience s training needs
• Gather and review the curated content from the SMEs/client
• Create High-level Design Document
• Apply Bloom s levels of learning when stating course objectives and creating content that matches them
• Create and review visual storyboards with engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer for ILTs and WBTs
• State instructional end goals and create content that matches them
• Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product
• Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts
• Apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods
• Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
• Create and review supporting material/media (audio transcript, video transcript, simulations, role plays, games, etc.)
• Create accessibility compliant content for courses
• Create content for emerging media technologies
• Decide on the criteria used to judge learner s performance and develop assessment instruments
• Author WBTs using authoring tools like Storyline 360, Rise, Captivate, GoMo (optional)
• Apply responsive design knowledge across projects to drive content shaping in case of complex/robust content
• Maintain project documentation and course folders (course index - complete record of a course - for media or any assets - complete record of the asset)
• Create prototypes (even rapid prototyping) to make the discussions more focused and constructive
• Coordinate with project development team
• Ability to provide consultation on suitable solutions and realize benefits of such transformations

RequirementsLevel of experience: 4-6 yearsEducation/qualifications: Graduate and above (Masters in English/Communicative English/Mass Communication or Diploma/Degree in Instructional Design preferred)Knowledge of tools: MS office suite, Google Suite, Articulate Storyline 360 and Rise (intermediate to Advanced level), Captivate, GoMo (optional)Industry experience: 4-6 years in instructional design or instructional technologyTechnical capability: Should have a basic knowledge of ADDIE, Instructional Design theories, Bloom s Taxonomy, needs analysis, storyboarding, accessibility compliant content creation, visualization, authoring using development tools, client communication, familiar with Agile framework and SME interactionKey personal attribute: Open to learning new skills and tools, awareness of the learning industry latest trends, eye for details, flexibility to adapt to new situations, strong verbal and written communication skills, consulting abilities, proven track record collaborating within a team environment,
