Job Description

    The successful IT Support Technician will be customer focused and motivated by team success. You will be innovative, energetic, and able to adapt to new processes and procedures quickly while dealing with a high volume of requests. You will also be committed, flexible, and have demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of productivity with minimal supervision. You will be a senior Tech part of a Team and will be in lead position to provide support to the Customer. Maintaining key SLAs & KRAs. Keep records, prepare reports for all the deliverables. Provide support for desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals and other computer related devices Ensure proper documentation, notification, escalation, tracking, and follow up of all incidents Troubleshoot and resolve system hardware and software problems Participate in monitoring and maintenance of system key process improvements Create and update MIS reports Excellent Data analytic skills Proficient with Excel.Participate in the internal Projects in collaboration with Global Supply Chain Team and internal stakeholders.Key job responsibilitiesIT Support Assoc II will be a key member of Global Supply Chain, RAD Team. He will follow all the set process of managing IT inventory, repair as per his hardware skill, vendor management, audit, coordinating with different stateholders like Material Management Team, FC IT Team, Logistics, Procurment Team and Customer.He will be responsible to build network stack and deploy them in different sites. He will be doing audits of the various assets and should be have a learning capabiliity of various asset management tools Amazon have.A day in the lifeIT Support Assoc II will be a key member of Global Supply Chain, RAD Team. He will follow all the set process that Supply Chain has, of managing IT inventory, repair as per his hardware skill, vendor management, audit, coordinating with different stateholders like Material Management Team, FC IT Team, Logistics, Procurment Team and Customer.He will be responsible to build network stack and deploy them in different sites. He will be doing audits of the various assets and should be have a learning capabiliity of various asset management tools Amazon have.About the teamRAD Team is part of Opstech IT team as well as Global Supply Chain Team who manages IT assets for end Customers. Our customers are internal to Amazon from FM, MM, LM & UFF sites.,
    • Bachelor s degree in Computer science or IT related field.
    • Microsoft MCSE, MCITP Systems Administrator (Active Directory)
    • Strong Networking Skills, Cisco CCNA and CCNP certification
    • Advanced Linux systems administration skillsand certification.
    • Strong troubleshooting skills of very complex systems
    • Ability to explain complex IT concepts in simple terms
    • Ability to manage high priority projects
    • Proven ability to work successfully with limited supervision
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable communicating in person and via phone/radio with peers, management, contractors and vendors.
    • Ability to travel up to 25%
    Bachelor s degree in Computer science or IT related field.
    • Minimum 3 years of IT support experience.
    • Minimum 2 year assets management experience.
    • Strong troubleshooting skills of very complex systems
    • Ability to explain complex IT concepts in simple terms
    • Ability to manage high priority projects
    • Inventory management skills.
    • Exellent data analytical skills.
    • Experience troubleshooting thin clients, PCs, scanners, and portable handheld terminals / Barcode scanners. Experience troubleshooting and maintaining laser printers and zebra printers.
    • Proven ability to work successfully with limited supervision
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable communicating in person and via phone/radio with peers, management, contractors and vendors.
    • Ability to travel up to 25%
