Job Description

  • You will be supporting Solution s end to end for proposals and project delivery.
  • You will provide Technical Solution architecture throughout project lifecycle (Business development, Presale, Scoping, Design, Development, Ongoing operations).
  • Provide functional and business process expertise and participate in design activities and a gap analysis prior to the implementation
  • Responsible for successful delivery of Procure To Pay (MM) module implementations in client engagement
What you ll do:
  • Assist clients in the selection, implementation, and support of SAP solutions, including design, configuration, and testing.
  • Identify appropriate services and align all solutions with business and IT solution owners
  • Lead client workshops , assessment of AS-IS , understand requirements in detail to be able to build an optimum solution
  • Customize and configure SAP MM end-to-end business processes.
  • Support project organization for integration and user acceptance test together with the client teams from business
  • Give back and share project expertise and knowledge with wider IBM organization helping IBM to serve other clients.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • 8+ Years of SAP functional experience specializing in design and configuration of which 1 year in SAP HANA SCM MM module.
  • Minimum 3 SAP implementations, one must be global in nature.
  • Minimum 1 project experience in SAP S/4 Hana.
  • Experience defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines
  • Should have SAP HANA SCM MM (Materials Management) functional experience including Sourcing, Operational Procurement, Invoicing, Inventory Management and Logistics processes.
  • Ability to analyse defects and enhancements in SAP HANA SCM MM space and coordinate with Development team, testing team and Business users for resolution.
  • Knowledge of the key innovations and simplifications in MM module in SAP S/4 Hana Clear conception of Business Partners.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Should have proven project based experience with SAP S/4 Hana design and build implementation work (versions 1511, 1610, 1709, 1809) would be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of Ariba would be an added advantage
  • Expertise on MM Organization Structure Plant, Storage Location, Purchase Organization, Purchasing Group and their assignments
  • MM master data, RFQ, Contract, Expertise on Operational Procurement Release Procedure, MRP, Tax Procedures, Account Determination and Split Valuation MM-FI integration, Special Procurement processes Stock Transfers, Special Stocks, Inventory Management and Logistics processes Batch Management, Movement Types, Service Procurement, Logistics Invoice Verification, SD, PP, WM, QM
