Job Description

*JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACTThe Program Manager is responsible for IT portfolio and project management activities for full rigor projects with a minimum of $5mio spend, this role is an empowered leader who must drive results, proactively identify and resolve problems. and has the primary responsibility to ensure that the program produces the desired result with the standard of quality.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provides strategic vision to the program team utilizing expert knowledge of portfolio management and thorough business/technical acumen.
  • Defines program objectives and scope utilizing expert knowledge of project management practices and procedures, accountable for development of the Integrated Project Plan for each project within the program.
  • Leads periodic program reviews utilizing expert knowledge of the project delivery process, monitor and report on the status of projects including cost, timing and staffing.
  • Independently identify and resolve obstacles to completing project on time and to budget.
  • Adhere to internal and external quality standards.
  • Provides mentorship, coaching and development for team members and functional leads as appropriate.
  • Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.

, *MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of six years of related work experience in project management leading ERP, business application implementation projects
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management Certification
  • Agile/Scrum Certification
  • Masters Degree in engineering, business, MIS, or computer science
