Job Description

Requirements and ResponsibilitiesPurchasing Supervisor supervises the daily activities of the purchasing function. Maintains relationship with vendors or suppliers and negotiates contracts for more complex purchase order. Being a Purchasing Supervisor evaluates and analyzes purchasing trend and price trend to identify forecasting demand and minimize purchasing costs. Typically requires a bachelors degree or its equivalent. Additionally, Purchasing Supervisor typically reports to a manager. The Purchasing Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. To be a Purchasing Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.1. Must be a B.Com graduate.2. Must have a 3 years or so experience in Purchase. Preferably Hotels.4. Well-spoken and well groomed5. Must have knowledge about hotels and eagerness to join6. Should be in between 26-28 years in age or less.
