senior manager - concrete lab. in kolkata1. Overall responsible for running Concrete Lab both administratively /functionally and its CAPEX, OPEX, deliverables as expected by Top management.2. Responsible for training of sales & CSS teams and ensuring that they stay competent and skilled for their field concrete knowledge3. Optimization of concrete mix designs for OPC 43, 53 grades, PPC slag cement & composite cement for M-25,30,35 & 40 grade concrete Slump: Convectional field concrete 80-100 mm & RMC 120-130 mm4. Study on identification of compatible admixture for concrete made with all products.5. Comparison of concrete (M-25) performance made with competitors market cements VS products: water demand, workability, slump, slump retention, homogeneity, strength gained.6. Assessment of concrete durability: products VS competitors brands mainly with Water permeability/absorption, rapid chloride penetration test, etc.7. Assisting clients in Specific concrete mix design for projects with recommended products8. Hand on Concrete mix design training for TS cell on regular basis.9. Coordination with plant QC Heads in case of special cement requirement for any Projects / clients.10. Coordination with TS group for site mix requirements / complaints11. Coordination with TS and QC heads for clients to show case concrete Lab and capabilities in concrete mix design as well.12. Investigation on Lime stone-based cement and their concrete mix design VS PPC, slag cement & Composite cement.13. Any special investigation with ref to concrete mix design and their durability aspect14. Importance of market requirement for product design and development in coordination with Plant QC Head and TS cell Head.15. Develop a clear application-based value proposition to Institutional / corporate clients in coordination with Plant QC head / TS Head.16. Monthly activity planning & performance report to be submitted to Satna Plant Head, Satna QC Head and Ex-president (Operation)Special Skill /Training -Should be well convergent with types of cement (OPC, PPC,Slag & Composite cements) and their concrete performance.Thorough knowledge in concrete and concrete specificationsby use of different types of cement.Should be of research aptitude in innovations of differentconcrete mix design by use of different type of cement to assess their concrete performance /durability.Conversant for NABL requirement of Concrete lab.Knowledge & positive attitude towards Safety.Knowledge of SAP System & MS-Office.Technical/Analytical/Conceptual Skills.Good Verbal /Written Communication Skills.Good Presentation, Team Work & Interpersonal Skills.Required Education:B,E/B.Tech (Civil Engineering) with first class.
