Job Description

Designation Engineer / Sr. EngineerDepartment - SalesLocation - KolkataRoles & ResponsibilitiesSpecific activities that detail this position operating successfully within the organisation---1 Enquiry Tracking-

  1. a) Register Enquiries / Tender and generate Monthly / Quarterly reports capturing analytic data
  2. b) Submit offer including documentation (EMD, Technical data etc) as per the tender / enquiry.----
  3. c) Analyse and generate report about Order conversion prospects / Price realisation reports (once a half year)--
  1. Order Processing & execution
  1. a) Receiving order and send acknowledgement; including clarification /corrections for discrepancies andget them resolved.-
  2. b) Preparing indents, NSDs and receiving Order Acknowledgements from HO-
  3. c) Review of order and preparing / initiating pre-dispatch Technical documentation Documents (Drg& QAP etc.) approval as per order whereverapplicable.-
  4. d) Initiate and administer submission of commercial document PBG and ECS details as per PO conditions.---
  1. Post delivery / dispatch activities-
  1. a) Coordinate delivery and get acknowledgment of Delivery Receipts as per PO terms---
  2. b) Submit bills with delivery / dispatch details and monitor payment processing & ensure collection on time.-
  3. c) Coordinate for Service support related to delivery of parts.------
  4. d) Handling supply discrepancies and correction as per procedures. The procedures and format to be documented for ease of operation-
4) Reports and reviews-
  1. a) Prepare and review Payment collection plan Fortnightly basis.------
  2. b) Enquiry to Order analysis (order lost reports) and price realisation report.-Quarterly-----
  3. c) Adherence to system for ISO compliance for all related functions-----
5) Other----------
  1. a) Promoting upgradation proposals, maintenance contracts and Kit promotion----
b)Annual projectionsofequipmentforbudgeting purpose- to be provided during 4th Quarter every year.--
  1. c) Up Keep data and Update/educate customer about new trends and product upgrades (Modification) to plan procurement accordingly.-
  2. d) Capability of leading retro fitment projects for feasibility study, offers, and installation on time execution--
