Tableau Enablement ConsultantLocation Remote IrelandPosting date 13 hours ago(4/14/2021 5:41 AM)Job ID 86253 Category Information Technology Job summary The Red Hat Enterprise Data and Analytics (EDA) team is looking for a Tableau Enablement Consultant to join us in Ireland. In this role, you will work as an internal Tableau consultant, supporting all Red Hat s teams as a key member of the Enterprise Data Visualization Center of Excellence (CoE). You will serve as an evangelist for improving the efficiency and effectiveness with which we make data-driven decisions and as an advocate for empowering our data culture. Your prior record as a contributing member of the global Tableau community will serve you well as you learn Red Hat s internal systems and processes while establishing yourself as a go-to expert for blogging, training, consulting, and dashboard development. As a Tableau Enablement Consultant, you ll need to be able to balance a diverse workload consisting of promoting style guide adoption, delivering live trainings, evangelizing self-paced eLearning, and owning relationships with stakeholders across the Sales, Marketing, Finance, People (HR), and Products and Technologies (PnT) teams. Primary job responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy performant and accessible business intelligence (BI) solutions, including interactive dashboards in Tableau, sourcing data from internal enterprise datasets, published Tableau data sources, and external sources, using Tableau prep as needed
• Engage with leaders and BI teams across the enterprise to synthesize requirements, consult on what is possible, and deliver outstanding Tableau dashboards with an emphasis on performance and UX design
• Serve as a point of contact to bridge the gap between BI teams and leadership to support improved stakeholder management and requirements gathering
• Serve as a coach to BI teams and leaders to improve stakeholder management beyond your engagement with a team
• Share your own expertise as a leader in the Red Hat Tableau user group (RHTUG), including via blogs, presentations, webinars, live trainings, and contributing to eLearning courses
• Work with EDA s learning and development manager and others to design and develop online and instructor-led Tableau learning materials in a highly collaborative environment
• Lead live training sessions, record eLearning content, and present at TUGs
• Organize and evangelize events like RHTUGs, Tableau Days, instructional webinars, and live trainings while maintaining a Tableau community calendar
• Contribute to building and maintaining an analytics portal for Tableau users who need help getting started, have questions along their journey, and want to stay connected with the Red Hat s Tableau community

Required skills

• Public Tableau profile that demonstrates proficiency in dashboard UX design as well as engagement in community projects like Makeover Monday, Workout Wednesday, and Storytelling with Data
• Demonstrated listening and consultative skills to understand business needs; ability to interpret requirements, identify impacts, and analyze problems
• Solid analytical mindset with an ability to interpret, visualize, and tell the story behind the data
• Superior analytical and creative problem-solving skills
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to collaborate across levels of the enterprise within a geographically distributed team
• Passion for both business understanding and using data to improve business processes and support decision making
• Comfortable speaking to large and small groups in live as well as recorded sessions
• Business analysis, consulting or advisory, or project or customer management experience is a big plus
• Experience with agile methodologies and frameworks is a plus
