Job Description

    Job descriptionPosition: Zonal Sales ManagerJob Location: KolkataThe Zonal Sales Manager works as an entrepreneur, determining company objectives and partner priorities and applying strategic initiative to achieve common goals.Key responsibilities:
    • Manage relationships with senior leadership and middle management at partner organizations. Solve problems, motivate, and establish himself/herself as a trusted adviser
    • Lead the field support team comprising of Associate Sales Manager, Area Managers and Area Executives to accelerate partners on-ground performance through local activation, training and problem-solving activities
    • As new channel partnerships emerge, work closely with the partners management and Greenlights teams to rapidly drive activation plans and execution
    • Develop, implement and drive incentive plans for various levels at the partner organizations to increase sales
    • Coordinate with Greenlights operations, marketing and finance teams to serve partner needs
    • Plan and forecast sales in tandem with the partner organizations
    • Represent the company at various events to increase the pipeline of partners
    • Implement tracking mechanism for the field teams through the Sun King application
    • Deliver on aggressive growth, revenue and P&L targets
    You might be a strong candidate if you:
    • Is mission-driven, entrepreneurial and passionate about making a significant difference in the world
    • Is an MBA in Sales and Marketing from any of the Leading Business Schools
    • Has 5+ years experience in sales (preferably B2B) and developing distribution channels in rural markets in East India
    • Passionate about in building a culture of financial inclusion, product management or cross selling with financial institutions (like MFIs, NBFCs, Banks etc.)
    • Fluency in Bengali and/or Oriya preferred
    • Has a strong record of consistently exceeding sales targets and a passion for being involved with big, game-changing enterprises
    • Is skilled in maintaining long-term relationships and assessing forward-looking ways to grow and support business partnerships
    • Enjoys the challenge of working creatively and independently with a fast-growing global enterprise
    • Likes getting hands on and is willing to spend 10-15 days a month on the road interacting with resellers, customers and partners
    • Is a natural people-person, one that thrives off of building strong relationships both within the and outside organization
