Job Description

    Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our team at Kukulkan Manpower Consultancy. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing and creating high-quality videos for various platforms. This is a full-time position based in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in video editing.Qualifications and Skills
    • 1 to 3 years of experience as a Video Editor or similar role
    • Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Sony Vegas
    • Knowledge of graphic design software like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and CorelDRAW
    • Strong understanding of video codecs, formats, and exporting
    • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills
    • Attention to detail and creativity
    • Good communication skills to collaborate with the creative team
    Roles and Responsibilities
    • Edit and assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the directors vision
    • Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
    • Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects
    • Create rough and final cuts according to the projects needs
    • Ensure logical and smooth transitions between scenes
    • Collaborate with the creative team to come up with innovative ideas and concepts
    • Review shooting scripts and raw material to create a shot decision list
    • Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industrys best practices to maximize efficiency
    • Maintain and organize a library of all the footage, audio files, and other digital assets
