Job Description

General Summary:

Based in our Mohali, Punjab location, you will work with Data Analytics team, interact with different stake holders ,customers spread all around the globe to get their raw data into cloud based platform and transform the data into meaningful insights. You will get the opportunity to understand their data and business. Under the supervision of our data analytics manager, you will have opportunities to grow into progressively more complex projects and agreements as your experience develops.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely response to customers RFP/RFQs, interact with them and get their data in data lake.
  • Participate in the approval process to assist business owners in making informed decisions and secure appropriate approvals.
  • Conduct research on best practices, performance tuning and new and effective methods of data ingestion and analysis.
  • Provide direction to data owners and understand business requirements and deliver insights.
  • Complete trainings to enhance your skills for effective data ingestion process.
  • Review, design and do the transformations for data loads.
  • Assist business users in developing specific reports and dashboards.

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or master engineering degree.
  • Four to six (4-6) years experience in a data engineering role.
  • Snowflake , SQL and java script knowledgeable.
  • Proficient in Data Visualization tools, such as Domo
  • Able to occasionally travel (estimated less than 10%)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor/master s degree in computer science.
  • Java scripting s and snowflake certifications.
  • Oracle ERP understanding would be an added advantage.
