Job Responsibility:1.Capability to undertake various Metallurgical aspects concerning to various grades ofAlloyed and Unalloyed Steels in respect of Material compositions and properties.2. Complete knowledge of Chemical, Mechanical and Metallurgical Testing involved in ferrous and non-ferrous materials including Castings and Forgings.3. Should possess experience in handling and Analysing complete tests on Spectro-Analyser, UTM, Impact testing, Macro and Micro-Hardness Testing including preparation methods for Vickers, Brinell, Rockwell as per International Standards.4. Knowledge about Heat Treatment Processes and their Phase transformations. Should be able to Investigate the defects arising in Heat-Treatment processes including defects arising in Welding process.5. Metallographic Preparations of Destructive samples and Investigations on Metallurgical Microscope which includes Grain Structure, Crack detection, Microstructure analysis including the Micro and Macro photography.6. Conversant to Non-Destructive Testing of Components like UT, VT, RT, MPI, Liquid Penetration Tests and Environmental Salt-Spray tests for Corrosion.7. Should have knowledge about the testing of all type of Oils and Grease, Lubricants and Solvents and types of Paints used in Industry.8. Ability to Investigate on Failure analysis of Components failed in Production or at CustomersEnd and to generate reports.9. Able to New Developments/New Initiatives
